A Very Geeky Valentines Day

These are the flowers my funny, yet geeky husband got me for Valentines Day. Thanks to www.thinkgeek.com for providing geeky guys with gift ideas like this bouquet! Is it sad that 1/2 my friends do not get what this is but my 3 yr. old was explaining what different powers the flowers can give me? House of geeks I tell ya!
Let me just say that had my gift for Patrick arrived in time, it goes well with the geeky theme of this day! Hopefully it gets here tomorrow!!

Braysen mails a Valentine

Braysen had a pre-k field trip to the post office last Friday to mail his Valentine. He was pretty excited when it showed up today & his stink bug drawing he made for us was pretty stinking cute (pardon the pun)
Here’s a few pics of the field trip. They went to the campus post office & got to go behind the scenes. I try to get to as many as field trips as I can but missed his last one due to my bio lab day so it was a fun afternoon for me too!

Typical night

Patrick reading his new kindle, cat cuddled up between us, usually a textbook on my lap, kids tucked quietly in their beds (for now.. Merrick & Braysen have been making their way back into our room lately). Boring perhaps but peaceful all the same!
