being sick sucks
Patrick spent most of last week home sick. Although, he spent too much of it working and not resting imo. Soooo, kiddo and I are now sick. I feel like complete total sh**, sore throat, runny nose, congested, headaches ..the whole gamut. Of course I feel worse for my little man then myself. I’d be sick any day if he didn’t have to be. 
I feel helpless for him cause I know he’s not feeling good. He’s so clingy, whimpers and is a very fussy lil man. I am trying to baby him as much as I can but that doesn’t seem enough at times. I’m keeping him hydrated, have our humidifier on, giving him saline drops for his nose (which he hates). Not much else I can do but hope we get us both over this cold asap.
Here are a few pics of the wall we just painted last week and it turned out pretty good. I’m slowly trying to get pics of rooms that we are almost done with or done with. (of course we are leaving some areas just untouched until we figure out how we want to do them / buy new furniture in the future etc) I had a few rough days of my web page. Upgrading my gallery to a newer version was a pain in my arse to say the very least!!! I got it working but not exactly how I want ..but it’ll do for now!
Enjoy and hope that everyone else is feeling ok and not coming down with this crud. I think half our block has it or just got over it.
Kitchen nook area: (someday replacing that table for a nicer nook table, we used this in our old apt. way back when but we do have our nice dining room set to use for more formal things)

@Dan I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
