It’s the little things in life that make me so damn happy. Who would’ve thought I’d be married or even owning a house now? I don’t feel old enough to own a house even. I just woke up this morning and it was like things were in slow motion. I was just taking them in slowly and enjoying every minute of it. Patrick and I have been carpooling to work so I can get my new car. (Mazda 6!!!) This morning wasn’t much different then the past mornings but maybe I just realized how we’ve really settled into our new married/owning house life.

Typical morning lately~

Alarm goes off, I ask what time it is and get a reply back but convince myself I need 10 more minutes. Either Patrick or I will head off to take a shower first while the other lays in bed trying to get a few more minutes of shuteye. Today, he went first so I get the nice arse view as he walks to the shower and then when the shower goes off, I stumble sleepily to the shower myself. I do my typical dry my hair, curl and put on what little makeup I wear, all the while, amusing myself by watching the cat. Merlin’s new favorite thing is to drink from the faucet in Patrick’s sink which he can be quite messy at. It’s amazing how easy it is to get ready when you have a nice big walk in closet and room to move around in while getting ready. I make my way to the kitchen and Patrick is putting food in the crockpot so it’ll be ready for dinner tonight. He tells me “there’s toast in the toaster for you also”. I put some jelly on it and take it off to the car with me. I could get used to this!!!

It’s just so calming to come home and relax in our house! Although, the lack of dsl and tv have really put a test to my boredom levels. Last night was a good night though, we have dsl!!! I logged into WoW for a while and yapped, people surprised to see us finally back. I also finally have Office 2003 so was playing with the new Outlook some and LOVE the new features. Now if I could just get 2003 here at work. I have a small dilema that may make me reformat my whole computer this weekend. *sighs* I need to buy some cds anyhow and burn a bunch of my pictures to them. I’ll also backup some other things before I do it but it will be a fun little weekend project, I can see it now. *sighs*

I had some awesome news yesterday tho, our class last night was cancelled and tonight’s class is cancelled. J It’s like having almost a whole week off of school. I’ll have plenty of reading for next week and I have some massive exercises for my Small Business Management class. They are all financial/accounting exercises so hopefully I can work my way through them easily enough.

Oh oh and lastly we have grass in the backyard finally and damn it looks bigger then we thought!!!

Back to work
