Ok, that just came out..from where I dunno but it was there. I think
i’ve been watching to much swimming and thinking to much about work.

So, on the work note..I got a lil bored this morning and used my webcam
to TADA take pics of my ugly office. I really need to get more color in
here.  So here ya go…take note of my M&M jar that a sales guy
gave me and it’s his job to keep me filled up when he swings in or I
get to hit him.  I also have my Puss N Boots talking animal from my
birthday. Besides that you’ll see the mountains of papers that are
in “organized” piles ..ok, ok ..it’s an organized chaos in here atm.  You can click to make them larger!

acccounting chic in san jose is doing collection/aging so my phone is
ringing non-stop from her)

As long as it’s not my apartment. I’ve started to really loathe my last few days at our apartment. I’m getting more and more ansy to move to our house. Last night we paid a trip out to check out our progress and of course my batteries died from the camera so no pics. *sighs* We have our cabinets done, countertops in, tiling done with grout, recessed lighting pretty much done, light switches in place and the appliances are sitting in our garage ready to go in. I love seeing the progress now that it’s finaly looking like a house! Next week I’d think would be other misc. work and the flooring before touch ups.

Last night was another boring night thanks to the WoW servers going down and nothing much on tv but the usual Olympic coverage. I did watch some of it and our women’s 4-200 Free relay rocked! They won a gold and even better, they beat the world record that was in place for the last 17 years! I didn’t watch much else but Patrick had the shotputters on tv and YUCK is all I can say. Those men just scare me! I can’t imagine Patrick being a thrower but in College that’s what he did.

Well i’m back to work or actually thinking of heading home for a quick lunch!

So lately while waiting for the WoW patch to roll around and for it to
spend hours downloading i’ve been watching more tv and some of the
Olympic coverage also.  I go in phases where I watch certain shows
only but usually most tv just bores me. 

Olympics- first off, I was a swimmer since a little kid.  I swam
breastroke mainly and love the sport.  I think Amanda Beard is
amazing and has definitely developed as a swimmer over the years. She
was amazing when she was first at the Olympics 8 years ago but last
night with IM really proved her depth as a swimmer.  Plus, last
night she won a Silver in the 200 IM.  The announcers were saying
how she would be really lucky to win a medal and yada yada yada but she
pulled off it off.  I was pretty impressed.  The biggest race
of the night was definitely the 4 – 200 Free.  I was on the edge
of my seat at the end just hoping for the win.  I am a pretty
vocal person when it comes to any sports and this was no
different.  Phelps led off really well but it was Keller at the
end to bring it home and not let Ian Thorpe pass him by.  The US
team has just a smidgen of a lead coming into the last swimmer which
was definitely needed as Thorpe caught up, as usual, in no time. 
Anyhow, that’s my swimming coverage of the Olympics! 

Wife Swap- This show is addictingly stupid.  I don’t know why I
watch such a lame arse show but I find it funny to see 2 women, so
opposite, thrown into new families and kids.  It really puts into
perspective how different families are, their cultures, how they are
raised etc.

I did watch other random crapstacular things bits and pieces from Big
Brother, Amazing Race, some HGTV, some MTV Newlyweed re-run etc. 
It just was a boring tv surfing night. 

~In house News~
We are looking definitely to close on Sept. 3rd!  We ordered our
refrigerator, washer and dryer the other night!  It’s the little
things folks that make ya excited hehe.  We got a nice
Stainless..well Clean Steel (stainless type that doesn’t show
fingerprints or smudges!) refrigerator because our kitchen has all
stainless appliances.   Then our washer is a extra large
capacity front loading one! I insisted I get a front load …soooo
nice!  Then your typical extra large capacity dryer to go with
it.  Thank gosh for Patrick’s GE discount.   We also got
our phone stuff ready to transfer…grr to new phone numbers to
memorize!  Next is ordering our DirecTv with Tivo system. 
Guess we are doing a 3 room system so we’ll have the tv in the kitchen
with it, our office and our great room.

Anyhow, back to work..getting the evil “you’re not working glares”.
