Personal Trainers - working out

Well yesterday I met with a personal trainer for the first time thinking I should get myself back in shape finally and especially since i’m going to need to fit into a wedding gown. :)

The lady is awesome and did her measurements, oh the joys of knowing your % of body fat! We figured out my goal and looks around 19% which will be around 18 weeks to get to. I’m actually amped up over the thought of doing this!!!

Went from swimming every day when younger for school or doing basketball, track and whatever other sports I played to doing barely nothing after I moved in with my fiance. I’ve never been one to worry about my weight but more so I just want to firm up and get in better shape, lose the lil tummy I have etc. I’m sure most of us have been there at some point.

Anyhow, the biggest problem for me isn’t so much the working out part but more so the eatting every 2 hours something small to get my metabolism up some. I’m used to eatting maybe 2 meals a day …usually just a big dinner and sometimes a decent sized lunch.

Yesterday was just my measuring day with cardio …today is going to be cardio and tomorrow I start my legs / glutes weight training. I’l lbe meeting with my trainer every Tues./Thurs and then the other days will work on my own cardio which I only need 20-25 mins of it at my target heartrate.

Know this isn’t the most exciting thing to write about but i’m stoked about working my lazy butt back into shape.
